Untimely snap bounces off Lions QB Jared Goff falls into palms of Bears defensive lineman

CHICAGO — A failed snap between Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and his heart resulted in a weird turnover in opposition to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Area on Sunday.

On first and purpose on the Chicago eight-yard line, Lions heart Frank Ragnow prematurely snapped the ball to Goff — who was attempting to speak with teammates on the line — which ricocheted off Goff’s shoulder and bounced instantly into the palms of Bears defensive finish Bilal Nichols.

The Bears marched down and scored on the following possession to take a 14-Zero lead on David Montgomery’s nine-yard dashing landing — his second of the sport.
